Bristol has more than 20 city parks and playgrounds, including Steele Creek Park, the third-largest municipal park in the state of Tennessee, and the 400-acre Sugar Hollow Park. Residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of facilities for outdoor activities throughout the year.

Anderson Park, Bristol, TN: Four acres of open space, music pavilion, gazebo.

Belle Meadows, Bristol, VA: Five-acre park with youth league field and playground.

Breedlove-Charles Park, Bristol, VA: Three acres, two illuminated tennis courts, basketball courts and playground, located adjacent to Douglass Senior Center.

Clear Creek Golf Club, Bristol, VA: Eighteen-hole quality public golf course, 35-acre lake with fishing pier, and bird-watching area.

Cumberland Square Park, Bristol, VA:
Four acres, location of veteran's war memorial, music pavilion, picnic shelter, children's theater, exhibit of two Vietnam-era aircraft, a UH-1H Huey and an AH-1H Cobra.

Haynesfield Aquatic Center, Bristol TN:
Full-size pool open all summer, offers swim lessons and parties.

Highland View Park, Bristol, VA: Three-acre park with illuminated youth softball field and play area.

Jackson Park, Bristol, VA: Three-acre park with large illuminated youth league baseball field, two illuminated tennis courts, and play area.

Home of eastern little league and a 10 acre undeveloped area.

Mumpower Park, Bristol, VA: Three acres, elongated park along Beaver Creek, three illuminated tennis courts, basketball courts.

Portsmouth Park, Bristol, VA: Mini-park with playground.

Randolph Complex, Bristol, VA: Thirteen acres, 5,000-seat football stadium, 2,000-seat professional baseball stadium (White Sox farm club), little league field, playground.

Rooster Front Park, Bristol, TN: The southeast end of Steele Creek Park which has a playground and picnic tables and shelter, and a great walk to dam and on to Steele Creek Park.

Rotary Park, Bristol, TN: Tennis courts, outside basketball courts, playground, picnic tables.

Steele Creek Park, Bristol, TN: 2,200+ acre park with playgrounds, picnic areas, amphitheater, nature center, paddleboats, train ride, walking trails, and golf course.

Stone Castle, at Tennessee High School, Bristol, TN: Football field, soccer, and walking track. The Stone Castle is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Sugar Hollow Park, Bristol, VA: 400-acre park with three softball fields, five soccer fields, 100 picnic sites, six picnic shelters, 75 campsites, pavilion and pool.

Suncrest Park, Bristol, VA: Ten-acre open space area, four illuminated tennis courts, adjacent to four-acre school play area.

Virginia High School, Bristol, VA: Two tennis courts, outside basketball courts, indoor pool, and 350-yard paved track.
