For those who are familiar with the original The Odd Couple, Oscar and Felix are now Olive and Florence; the four poker-playing buddies are four desperate housewives who gather for weekly Trivial Pursuit games; and in the funniest bit of role-reversal, the blind date English Pigeon sisters have become the Spanish Costazuela brothers, resulting in a hysterically funny scene of linguistic difficulties and cultural misunderstandings. From start to finish, it's pure comedy by the modern American master of comedy, Neil Simon.
