Description
The Double Cure perform live at 620 State at 7pm. The Double Cure is composed of two members: Cary Allen and Zach Whittaker. Both of them being born and raised in the Tri-City area, the band naturally claims its residence in Johnson City, TN. Cary and Zach agreed that they were not hearing the types of music that they craved to go out and see at local clubs and bars, so instead of complaining about this, they decided to create a band that incorporated all these styles that they loved, and thus The Double Cure was born. The band plays blues to garage to country to rock’n’roll, and the enthusiasm of their love for these styles shows while they perform on stage.
