Now in its 12th year, The Paramounts summer concert series, The David Caldwell Tunes at Noon presents Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter, Barbara Bailey Hutchinson on Friday, July 8th. She has a voice that is familiar to millions of TV and Radio listeners, as her smooth and powerful voice is heard on commercials such as McDonalds, Hallmark Cards, Heinz and other national advertisers. While her music tends to defy categorization, her style has been described as art songs. Her lyric driven, melodic, often humorous, alternative folk music speaks to issues of tolerance and human rights, as well as personal relationships and funny circumstances. She writes much of what she presents and has gained critical acclaim for her work. The one-hour programs begin at 12 noon on Fridays in historic downtown Bristol at the Paramount Center for the Arts. A $5.00 donation is suggested admission.
