THE TWIN CITY PHOTO CLUB (of Bristol) is pleased to announce plans are currently underway for our 2nd annual Photo Competition to be held in conjunction with the Rhythm and Roots Reunion Festival the third weekend in September. The competition is open to AMATEUR photographers only and all photographs must have been taken in our “Mountain Empire� region. The categories for the competition are: Landscape, Nature (Flowers & Animals), People, Monochrome, Inanimate, Altered Image and Best of Bristol. The competition is also open to YOUTH { 7-12 } and YOUNG ADULT { 13-18 }. There are no defined categories for the YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT. Images must be 8x10 matted to 11x14. Window mats only in white, gray or black. An entrant may enter up to 3 images in each category, not to exceed a total of 10 entries. The entry fee is $5.00 per entry; $3.00 per entry for Youth and Young Adult. BEST IN SHOW will receive $150.00 and a rosette. PEOPLE’S CHOICE will receive a rosette. Ribbons will be given in each category for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & Honorable Mention. Entries will be received at 618 State Street on Saturday September 12th from 9-3:30. Judging will be on Wednesday September 16th, with a reception on Thursday September 17th. The exhibit will be open Friday through Sunday of the Festival at teh 618 State Street location.

THE TWIN CITY PHOTO CLUB (Of Bristol) was established in November of 2007 by a group of photography enthusiasts. The club currently consists of 30 members. We welcome all new members. Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Bristol Chamber of Commerce from 7-9 p.m. Club members are available to cover community events & ribbon cuttings.
