Miss Shevaugn & Yuma Wray perform live at Machiavelli's in historic downtown Bristol on April 23 at 9pm. Miss Shevaughn and Yuma Wray manage to produce a complete thought- a full band sound despite the limitations of being only two people. The songs are new but have a haunting familiarity and draw on Mountain Music, The Blues, Rockabilly and the heyday of the Romantic Country Duet. Miss Shevaughn grew up performing folk music in Arkansas with her family and went on to study opera and Yuma Wray is a veteran of D.C.'s hardcore scene.
