Morning Joe Co-host Mika Brzezinski will be at Virginia Intermont College as part of the Worldview Scholarship Series on Saturday, September 11th at 1:30 p.m. Reserved seating $20. General admission free if space is available.

Mika Brzezinski is a television news journalist at MSNBC. Brzezinski is co-host of MSNBC's weekday morning program, Morning Joe, where she provides regular commentary and reads the news headlines for the program. Additionally, she reports for NBC Nightly News and serves as alternating news anchor on Weekend Today. Prior to joining MSNBC in January 2007, Brzezinski was an anchor of the “CBS Evening News Weekend Edition” and a CBS News correspondent who frequently contributed to “CBS Sunday Morning” and “60 Minutes.”  In September 2001, she worked at CBS becoming their principal “Ground Zero” reporter for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.  Brzezinski began her journalism career in 1991 in Hartford, Connecticut, as a general assignment reporter at WTIC.

Brzezinski has authored a book, All Things at Once, which was published January 2010. It’s described as "a candid and inspiring motivational book that will help women of all ages confront the unique professional and personal challenges they face in the key moments of their lives."
